If you've seen this post on Pinterest, then you know where I'm coming from.
How much do you love this idea?!
I scored a multi-pack of glitter colors at Michael's.
The tag on the display, I thought, said $3.99 and I was going to use my 40% off coupon.
But the glitter rang up for only 79 cents! SCORE!
Just like the instructions, I applied Elmer's glue on the key and coated it with glitter, let it dry.
Repeat on the other side. Once glue is dry, finish it off with clear nail polish/top coat.
All the keys got glittered!
Makes for a happy key chain!
This is also from Pinterest.....and it's my new motto.

My next bargain was a clearance lamp at Target.
It was the perfect colors for my bedroom.
But, the white and the teal were very stark, so I decided to tone it down.
I did a dry brush technique on the entire shade with a tan/beige color.
(I know, I know, I should have done a before picture....I'll try to get better at that!)
There were of course some extra feathers around from other projects.....I hot glued them to my shade, and here ya go!
The beige dry brush and feathers toned down it's modern look, and I love the way it turned out.
It matches my peacock-inspired room perfectly!
What projects have you worked on lately?
