On another note, as a life-long OU fan, I tend to steer clear of anything that pertains to a longhorn. (Ahem, notice I just call them the "horns", can't spit out the entire word on a regular basis). I choose to believe that none of the horns that are near the White House are named Bevo. Therefore, I can continue to admire my bovine buddies from afar. In addition to these horns, there is another pasture of A LOT more horns on the way to my parent's house. So, as soon as the weather permits, rest assured I will take some photos of the other pasture of horns. :-)
While I was snapping away with my new camera, a friendly pup came up and greeted me. He was very nice and cordial. He pranced toward me, tongue hanging out, and smiling. I told him hi, let him smell my hand, to let him know I'm not a threat to him. He just sat down and chilled while I acted like a tourist with my camera. Now that I think about it, HE could have been a SHE. I did not pay attention to this detail of my new canine friend......
I hope you all enjoy the beautiful bovines and the friendly doggie pictures.

I really think that puppy was posing in this shot....
This is such a ~sweet~ pic, come on, say it, awwwwwww......
Here are a few more pics of the beautiful and rustic country around me.....
Until next time, peace out!
