Hello Kitty says Happy Heart Day!.....Go Hug or Kiss Someone Today!!!!!
I know there are those of you that think this day is "stupid", full of fluff, flowers and chocolate. BUT, it is a BIG day in my family.
You see, Momma & Honey were married on this day, 33 years ago. Also, my Aunt Nootsy and Uncle Jimmy were also married on this day 20 something years ago! So, that leaves me, the sweet only child, needing a gift, preferably a jewel of some sort, a beautiful card, and some candy. :-) My mother is laughing right now while reading.
Seriously, it is just another day, I know, but we use it to express our love for each other as a family in the traditional St. Valentine's way. There are roses, candy, cards, a nice dinner, and gifts involved in our celebration. We celebrated a little early......and went out on Saturday evening to Elements Steakhouse at the River Spirit Casino, since V-Day is on a school night. We had an awesome dinner of steak and lobster to celebrate.
