Project 366, Week 1

One week down in the new year!

I am liking taking a picture every day.  It doesn't sound like a lot, but it's something to think about, focus on, and have something to reflect on in the end.

Here's week 1 of 2012!

January 1 - First workout of the new year!  Clipped in and ready to spin.

January 2 - My new Kindle Fire.  LOVE IT!

January 3 - My sista got me this amazing Stila make up palette for Christmas.  I am loving testing it out and using all the gorgeous shadows, blush and lip colors!

January 4 - Little Jessie was limping when I got up that day.  So, we took a trip to the vet.  Thankfully, it wasn't anything horrible.  Her knee was a little out of whack, and with a pain/anti-inflammatory shot, she's good as new now.

January 5 - New nail polish....glitter!  I caved and bought one of the Kardashian Kolors.  This one is a fun, multi colored glitter called "Rainbow in the S-Kylie".

January 6 - Got my new iPhone 4S!

January 7 - My gym had a ribbon cutting for their new location in midtown.  These gorgeous flowers were at the front desk when I went to workout.

Thursday Picture Fun

Happy Thursday peeps!

Today is my Friday, woo hoo.....becauseeeeeee, tomorrow is the day of my birth!  It's ok if you shipped my gift and it doesn't make it by tomorrow.  But I will crushed if I don't receive all my gifts by Saturday!  KIDDING!!!  Takin' off work to go play on my birthday!

The Hollywood Housewife posted some good stuff today on her site.

Her post is about printing pictures you have taken with your iPhone.....and all the new little fancy pants apps that alter your pics to make them look amazing.

There is an app/website that you can go to and order prints of your 4x4 pictures.  It's called Postal Pix.  I have not personally used this site, it just sounds very easy to use.  If you do snap that amazingly awesome pic with your phone, now you can have it printed true to size.

I don't take tons of pictures with my iPhone, but a lot of people do.  IPhone photographers seem to be obsessed with Instagram.  Personally, my fave is Hipstamatic.

Anyway, just thought I'd share that little tidbit in case you were like, OMG, I am an amazing photographer with my phone!

Here are a few pics from my phone taken with Hipstamatic and edited with Instagram.

This pic was taken with Hipstamatic app on my iPhone.

It's an old ammo box of Honey's.  I love it, I think it's just old school and neat.

Here is the same pic, taken with Hipstamatic, but edited it with Instagram.

Looks Like Spring

Spring is in the air!

Grass is turning green, there are leaves on the trees again, flowers are starting to bloom, and old man winter is on his way outta here!

Here are a few scenes from Momma & Honey's outdoor springtime extravaganza......

Mr. Ed is on point and ready to show us all which direction the wind is blowing....

And this little boy is very happy to be hanging out on the patio again instead of cooped up inside when it's cold and yucky outside....

Until next time, peace out!
