I attended a class last night on blogging. "Blogging Bootcamp", as it was called.
The teacher/speaker was a local couponing, blogging, money saving guru. Her name is Sarah Roe and she has an amazing website, check it out here . She has tons of local deals and coupons on her site. She does features on a local news station, and you can book her for speaking engagements as well.
By NO MEANS did I think I had the "Blogosphere" figured out......but I did think to myself, hey, I'm posting pictures and videos, writing some fun little stories, I've made myself a little catchy feature day, if you will (Whatever Wednesday), and thought I was on a good roll with the White House Blog.
Well, STOP THE PRESSES!
There is ~SO~ much I learned from her class last night. Basic design, layout, how to monetize, advertisement, buying URL's, analyzing your views, demographics of views, blog topics, giveaways, sponsors, and the list goes ON. I mean really, it goes wayyyy ONNNNNN.
I came to the serious realization that The White Blog is a "blog infant"! She needs tender loving care to grow and be noticed with lots of readers and frequent visitors. Not that I'm trying to be The Pioneer Woman, but I want my blog to at least get a decent following!
So, please be patient with the White House Blog as she is a baby. I have all the confidence that she will grow and blossom into a mature, enjoyable, and lovely blog.
I'll do my best.
I'm working on it and I'll get there (hopefully) to the ranks of "Super Blogger", LOL....I just made that up.

Add music.....you gotta add the music.....you would have a great playlist I am sure. I love listening to the music to the few bloggers I follow. Did you ever check them out....daisycottage and cherryhillcottage. I check in on them daily....I even get an email from daisy just to let me know she has a new post....;-))
