Positive Monday

I hope everyone had a good weekend.

I had a good weekend until I rolled my ankle off the sidewalk....walking into my friend's big 40th birthday bash.  I was just walking along, holding her big ol' gift sack in front of me....and of course, just staring off to my left as I strolled along, then it happened.  Holy mother of high heels and ankle pain.......it felt like someone had stabbed me, with 42 daggers and left me there to die.  Well not that bad, but I did drop to the ground and it took my breath away for a few minutes.  Once I gained my composure, we entered the party, it was a FANTASTIC party and venue.....I will post about it soon.

But my point was, I limped around the rest of the night, and all day yesterday.  I was SO mad and frustrated at myself for doing something so stupid.  I work out 4-5 times a week and haven't hurt myself like that at the gym.  Anyway, the athlete in me was disappointed I couldn't go to the gym yesterday.  All I could do was limp around like a poor wounded lil baby.  I know things could be much worse in my life, but I got mad at myself.  I am happy to report "Angie Wounded Ankle" is doing much better today.  We're not out of the woods yet, but it's feeling much better.  Thank goodness!

I opened my blogger this morning and found a much needed, positive post on a blog that I follow.  The post is about blog envy......and there are lots of others out there, that you think, are better than you.

My friend Renae and I were discussing this very thing last week.  She emailed me with the sweetest words ever and for that I am grateful.  She told me how she thoroughly enjoyed my blog and that I was entertaining and that she loved learning about my "hearts"......do I say that very often?  HA!

I told her the main reason I appreciated her words so much, is because I think A LOT about what I'm going to blog about and I truly hope it is appreciated.  As creative people, she and I struggled with feeling "inferior" to others who are creative as well.  This is the POST I was referring to.....blogger or not, there are some positive words here.

Also, what really spoke to me was this GREAT printable you can download here

Embrace your humanity and have a positive and happy Monday.

Until next time, peace out!
