Punkin'!

Happy Fall Y'All!

I've managed to go crazy decorating pumpkins!

Pumpkins are a great decoration for Fall, Halloween and Thanksgiving!

Of course, with the help of Pinterest, and Pinterest, and The V Spot blog,
I have been a pumpkin decorating fool!

Here are the "carvable" pumpkins from the Dollar Tree.
I'm not a fan of the BRIGHT orange, so I decided to go with spray paint.

Now, time for the the details.....lots o' dots!  I used these Visual Texture paints.
They are very similar to using a Tulip dimensional paint for fabric.

Ta-Da!  Here is the finished product!
I tried to do swirl, curly-q type of pattern.

My peace sign got a little crooked, but that's ok.....

This one is painted black with white dots.

I opted for an almond spray paint and black dots.....so many options, just have fun with it!

Now go to Dollar Tree and get started making some awesome punkin's!

Have Fun!

  1. Cute! I wish I was creative and could even think of doing these kinds of things. Those painted pumpkins would totally match my house! Please come over and spray paint my things. ;-)

  4. Wow you are awesome. I love the peace sign. We did these too, but used spray paint. Spray paint doesn't work very good.

  5. I've been stalking the Dollar Tree this year, waiting for them to come in since I waited too late last year. I'm so glad I found your blog using the exact same ones! I was nervous to spray paint them for fear it would eat the foam (since they aren't hard like the expensive ones) but didn't have the patience for handpainting the base color. Yours definitely look great!
